Become a part of the IEEE Board.

Ever since its creation, IEEE has continued to be an increasingly involved student organization, but there are many areas in which we could still improve. Increasing member activity and visibility within the department remain our biggest concerns, and your commitment to IEEE would strongly enhance the success of the organization. Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA
• Registered as a Student Member of IEEE (signup at www.ieee.org/join for $30 if you're not a member already)
• Be an Iowa State student in electrical or computer engineering
• Running for president: At least 1 semester experience on the board.

Voting Process

Elections for the 2009-2010 School year are approaching fast. Elections are going to be on Wednesday, April 22nd! Nominations have started and anybody can be nominated or nominate themselves up until election day. There are a lot of great leaders that will not be around next semester, so please speak up if you are interested in an IEEE position!
